Project Overview / Purpose
Developed exclusively for Google Next 2025, this game’s primary goal was to engage and educate attendees on integrating Google Workspace AI—particularly Google Gemini—into their everyday workflows. By prompting users to share small pieces of personal workflow challenges, the game would then send data to an API that demonstrates how AI automation could enhance tasks like creating Google Calendar invites, sorting Gmail messages, or managing projects more efficiently. Designed for code-savvy professionals, the game needed to strike a balance between fun, interactive gameplay and advanced learning objectives.
An instructional, interactive experience designed to showcase and teach Google Workspace AI capabilities.

Challenges & Solutions
In creating a game that effectively teaches complex AI workflow integrations while remaining entertaining, I encountered several key challenges: finding the right balance of gameplay styles (puzzle, strategy, mini-coding) to keep both education and engagement in harmony; maintaining authenticity for an advanced audience of tech-savvy Google coders through real-world coding examples; adhering to Google’s strict brand and style guidelines by aligning design elements, color schemes, and UI components; and showcasing new Google AI features without overshadowing the core gameplay, ensuring players progressively uncover advanced functions without feeling overwhelmed.
